It was announced last night that the NYPD can bring down a plane. Reports questioned Ray Kelly for what kind of weapon they had. He never answered. This morning its being reported it is a .50 Caliber gun. My guess it is an AA .50 caliber Anti- Aircraft gun. The AA gun was used heavily in World War 2 to bring down enemy planes. It is still used today on battle ships and by ground units. Mostly missiles are used but AA guns still have their place. I’m actually surprised that they haven’t been mounted on the tops of buildings around the city. It would truly add to the NYPD’s army. It was also announced and confirmed the NYPD is in full operation with the CIA to bring in street level intel. They have NYPD officers in Iraq and Afghanistan as we speak. The NYPD is no longer a police department but the military police. Think about it, police in swat gear standing on street corners with m-4’s,mp 5’s. Sniper boxes randomly in the city. .50 caliber AA gun. Dive units, swat units, sniper units. A camera system throughout the city with id checks by street patrols. Training by the CIA to gather intel. The city will be on complete lock down in the next two years. It will look like The movie Escape from New York.
