The Crossbow

Since before medieval times the crossbow was in warfare. Invented in ancient China the crossbow was used to send arrows long distances. It was modified in the 6^th century to a hand held device. Over the years it was used by the Romans and Greeks. Fast forward to now 2011. The crossbow is still in non-official use. It I used as a counter sniper weapon. Obviously there is no flash when fired for a sniper to give up your location. The crossbow has a psychological effect due to its silent kill. The pistol crossbow is used for silent kills in close quarters combat. Jungle units use a grappling attachment for securing zip lines to maneuver over valleys.

Breaking News! NYPD and CIA Partnered to Spy in New Jersey!

Down in New Brunswick terrorist literature was found in the lobby of an apartment building. When the land lord opened the first floor apartment he got the shock of his life. A NYPD surveillance operation! It has been reported that the state of New Jersey and FBI had no idea of the NYPD surveillance operation. It is now being reported that throughout New Jersey and New York the NYPD has partnered with the CIA to have undercover police officers spying on ethnic communities. They have been observing book stores, night clubs, and mosques. The NYPD hired a retired CIA operative to head its new intelligence unit in New York. The NYPD sent a few officers to Virginia for training. Now the NYPD has an intelligence unit that operates like a mini-CIA. The interesting part if the FBI did this it would violate civil rights. So CIA gave the NYPD permission not to tell another state or federal government what they were up to. Sounds more like the CIA was using the NYPD to do their dirty work.

Facial Recognition Software

A new software has debuted during the London riots. Police and government agencies now can see you even with a hood on. They are able to piece together your face and identify anyone. Along with this software comes criminal behavior software. It is being issued first in L.A it is based on an algorithm that predicts high criminal activity areas, there location and down to the time of day it will happen. Police have caught six people while using this software. Now here comes my point. What in the world are doing anymore? We are letting computers run our lives. The government is slowly taking our rights away. And we just let it happen. It appears to me nobody cares anymore and that’s just sad.

Why isn’t 9/11 a National Holiday?

I can’t seem to a decent argument online whether 9/11 should or shouldn’t be a holiday. Some people said it is till to fresh. That’s why it should be a holiday. People need to know the government cares now. Not 15 to 20 years from now when I’m old. We lost innocent people that day. All there crime was, was going to work. Many towns sent aide into New York. Towns from small to large helped, random people from all walks of life volunteered. We didn’t see color, sex or race for those weeks. We just saw each other. In the months and years to come we lost, police, firefighters, first responders and civilians that were killed from asbestos and other things. We lost loved ones to time and death in Iraq and Afghanistan. We are still losing loved ones this very day to the war and 9/11 illnesses. So let’s show compassion for the lives lost and effort made on that day.
