This weekend some of our Navy Seals were killed by insurgents in a helicopter air lift. These men didn’t get the chance to defend themselves; they were shot down while getting a ride home. My heart goes out to the families and friends of these men. The insurgents must be hurting for such an act of cowardice. It really shows they are out matched and they know it. My questions though are simple. We all our technology why didn’t we do a satellite thermal scan of the area? And why haven’t we upgrade transport helicopters we better armor and maybe a drone escort? We do need to take a look at how to help our troops. Not just upgrading weapons but a real look at defense.
